was born in 1963 in Faenza (Ravenna, Italy) where I live and work.
My love for nature, and my wish to know the environment surrounding me - both for professional and personal reasons - have been part of me for a long time.
Recently, the contact with such enthralling «things», often so impressive and of high aesthetic value, such as animals, flowers, landscapes with their wonderful details, made me want to fix these marvels in pictures.
My first, rough shots date back to the beginning of the Nineties. Then, I started to study books and magazines, to attend photography workshops, and above all  to spend all my spare time watching and photographing; this way I managed to improve my technique.
In 2002, three pictures of mine were awarded at the 3° Italian Award of Naturalistic Photography organized by the magazine Oasis. Later on, I got more important awards at national competitions.
A peculiarity of my naturalistic and photographic research is that I've chosen my homeland, Romagna, as my almost only field of action.
